For centuries, women have made groundbreaking contributions to astronomy—yet their stories often go untold. This interactive 90-minute workshop equips astronomy educators and communicators with the knowledge and tools to authentically incorporate women astronomers into your presentations and programs. Understand more about the importance of representation in engaging audiences, and how to create a more welcoming environment for everyone.
You'll discover both historical pioneers and contemporary leaders whose work has shaped our understanding of the universe. More importantly, you'll learn practical strategies for weaving these stories into your existing content in ways that feel natural and inspiring. Through hands-on practice and resource exploration, you'll develop practical strategies for weaving women's contributions into your existing astronomy content. Perfect for educators, planetarium presenters, amateur astronomers, and anyone who shares astronomy with public audiences.
Registration: Early bird registration through February 19: $35 Regular Registration through March 5: $40
