Learn@ASP Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a MyASP account already as a partner, donor, or AstroShop customer. Can I use the same credentials in the Learn@ portal?

A: You must create a separate log in for Learn@ASP. We do recommend using the same email as your MyASP log in. 


Q: Do ASP Partners or Supporters receive discounts in the Learn@ASP portal?

A: At this time we are not offering discounts for this new workshop portal. This may change in the future.


Q: How do I register for a workshop?

A: If you don’t have a Learn@ASP account (separate from your MyASP log in) create one for free. Click the “Create Account” button and fill in the information fields then click “Create Account” at the bottom. Log in on the main page and then find the workshop you’d like to register for through the Workshops and Courses page. Click the green “Register” button and follow the instructions.


Q: Where do I find the workshops I’ve registered for?

A: Click on “Dashboard” in the left side menu. You’ll see the workshop products you are registered for and have access to.


Q: Do you provide recordings for workshops?

A: We strongly recommend attending workshops live to get the most out of the discussions and break out sessions. However, we know schedules may not allow for live attendance so most of our live workshops are recorded. If a recording option is offered it will be available to everyone registered for the workshop. 


Q: How long do I have access to the workshops I’ve registered for?

A: Typically for 3 months after the date of the live workshop.


Q: I registered for a workshop but haven’t received a link to the online session yet.

A: Zoom links can be found on the workshop page on the Learn@ASP portal. 

  • Log in to Learn@ASP and click on “Dashboard”. 
  • Click on the name of the training you are trying to access. 
  • Click on the “Workshop Info” tab just below the training title and you’ll find the link there once it becomes available.
  • Reminder emails are also typically sent a week before and the day before a workshop with specific instructions for each workshop.

Q: What is the cancellation/refund policy?

A: A full refund is available for cancellations up to 14 days prior to the start of the workshop unless otherwise noted in the workshop overview information. If you need to cancel please email learn@astrosociety.org. However, keep in mind that most workshops are also recorded. See the recording question above.


Q: Do you offer continuing education credits?

A: Each of our workshops offers a Certificate of Completion certifying the number of hours of professional development a participant completed. Please email learn@astrosociety.org if you require something different.
